THIS WEEK'S FAVORITES:

Mounds and Almond Joy: It is easy to convince myself that these are good for me; dark chocolate = helps control your blood sugar; almonds = packed with fiber. Plus, I'm pretty sure coconut is a fruit.
IconPopQuiz: I'm stupid-addicted to this game right now; it shows you a picture that depicts either a famous person, TV/movie, or character, and you have to guess who/what it is. And, yes, maybe I do google some of the sentence clues I had to pay 200 tokens to get. Don't judge me.
Erase Me - Kid Cudi feat. Kanye West: This song has been practically on repeat every day I worked out this week. Love. it. Thanks a lot for introducing it to me, Nannie!

PUMPIN' BLUES: Well, there have been a few times in the last two weeks where I have wanted to throw my pump out the window. Low blood sugars, high blood sugars (super high -- like almost 400. AKA the return of the chapped lips), an old, discarded pod buzzing for a day and a half straight (as if to say, "Hey, I'm not done yet! Reattach me to your body!"), frustrations with uploading blood sugars to Altru for doctor evaluation, my freshly installed pod blaring a siren, which forced my dad to drive to town and bring me a new one at work...there have been some angry tears shed, that's for sure. I am starting to think I have way more diabetic stress now than I did before. I remember about a year or so after I'd been diagnosed the doctor said to me, "You know, by the time you're done with college, there'll be a cure for this!" Hmm...maybe that's Life telling me I better go back to school? Hardy har har...

THANK YOU: To everyone who has approached me and told me how much they enjoy reading my blog, thanks! That is so nice to hear. I was telling my mom that one of her friends told me how excited she gets whenever she sees a new post, and my mom said, "Oh, I haven't even had a chance to read it yet! What do you write about?" I told her it's basically just about how much I hate living with my parents. Haha, just joking mommy! I also LOVE to read feedback, so don't be shy to leave comments. Unless you think something sucks. Then you just hush up.

Love,

Kalli
